Non-Instrumental Endodontic Treatment (NIET) of primary teeth consists of maintaining the anatomy and contents of the root canals, as there is no instrumentation of the root canals. Instead, a paste combining different antibiotics is placed on the floor of the pulp chamber to promote tissue repair and sterilization of the lesion. Given the diversity of NIET protocols found in the literature and the doubts raised by dental students, dentists, and pediatric dentists, there is a need to standardize a clinical protocol based on scientific evidence. In this context, the objective of this work was to present an NIET protocol and disseminate it to the dental community. The topics covered were based on a literature review, covering the definition, advantages, disadvantages, indications and contraindications, operative technique, necessary materials, step-by-step descriptions, antibiotic paste prescription, and clinical/radiographic follow-up. Additionally, it presents the theoretical framework that supports the decision-making process. Through this publication, it is expected that this protocol will serve as a guide for professionals who treat children, since it has open access, allowing wide use of the procedure, especially in cases where it is necessary to maintain primary teeth in the arcade in areas with limited resources.
